Ways to give

Planned Giving

A planned gift keeps salmon recovery going for the next generation. Several options let you give in a way that fits your finances and your goals.

Four ways to give

Find the option that fits you.

Many of these gifts carry tax advantages, and every one of them puts more trees in the ground and more salmon in Whatcom County creeks. Your financial adviser can help you decide what makes sense for you, and we are always glad to talk it through.

Stocks & securities

Give appreciated stock and you may avoid capital gains tax while supporting salmon recovery.

From your IRA

If you are 70½ or older, a qualified charitable distribution lets you give directly from your IRA.

Donor-advised funds

Recommend a grant to NSEA through your donor-advised fund, in a single gift or on a schedule.

Everlasting gifts

Name NSEA in your will or estate plan and leave a legacy that keeps salmon coming home.
