Educators have an exponential impact on future generations

By Nathan Zabel, Education Program Manager
NSEA worked with 126 teachers in 2025, but the impact goes so much further! Some of these educators worked with NSEA through our Students for Salmon program, spending hours teaching their classes about salmon and watersheds in partnership with NSEA staff. Others participated in professional development workshops, equipping them to teach outdoors and incorporate climate science into their lessons. These 126 teachers facilitate many hours of learning for their students and are inspiring the next generation of leaders, scientists, and caretakers of the planet.
