Why it matters

Why we get students outside.

A student who has stood next to a creek, counted the insects salmon eat, and released a fry they raised remembers it. Those students grow up to be the volunteers, landowners, and scientists that salmon recovery needs next.

Our mission is to engage our community to recover wild salmon for future generations.
